My fourth book on social media was released by NAHB Builder Books at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando in 2018. Needless to say, I’m super excited to have an updated book out! “Social Media Marketing for Your Business” takes a different approach than I have in the past. Rather than talking about “how to” set up the various social media sites, I take a deeper dive into the “why” of social media and strategic marketing.
By now most companies have a website, Facebook page and Twitter or various other social media accounts. PWB, for those of you who may not be familiar with it, is the voice of women in the building industry. There are seven cosmic stages, seven ancient and visible planets, seven Chakras in Indian culture, seven days in a week and seven colors in a rainbow. Pythagoreans called it the perfect number, the universe was created in seven days and in Chinese culture, the seventh day of the first moon of the lunar year celebrates the universal birthday of all human beings.
And if you’ll be in Vegas for the joint National Association of Home Builders International Builders Show (IBS) and National Kitchen and Bath Association’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), sevens can be lucky if you pull three in a row on a slot machine. Seven has been my lucky number since I was a little girl, but seven is also a great number because it is the number of opportunities you will have to sit in on one of my programs at KBIS and IBS.
It will be a busy three days, but I am excited about the social media and marketing strategies, tips and ideas that my co-presenters and I will share in these presentations.
