Carol Morgan video premierCheck Out mRELEVANCE’s “Dear Future Client” Video Parody!

We all sing along with the radio, sometimes changing up the lyrics a little. I almost always change the words every  to make them more applicable to my life, or let’s face it, I can’t always remember the right ones!

For example, instead of Pat Benatar’s famous “Love is a Battlefield” lyric, you sing “Love is a pretty bay mare,” as you’re riding your horse around the arena, or you sing, “biscuits, biscuits” to the tune of Faith Hill’s “This Kiss” when making breakfast. It happened to me; I was driving down the road, singing along with Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband,” thinking about Marketing RELEVANCE, and prospective clients, of course, and started singing, “Dear Future Client.” And it hit me that making a parody of the song would be a great team building activity for our upcoming corporate retreat and would be a great way to show current and prospective clients the fun, creative side of mRELEVANCE.

As a business owner, growing the business is something that’s constantly on my mind, so it’s no surprise that “Dear Future Client” popped into my head.

Of course, I immediately called Mitch Levinson to share my idea and he jumped in and started writing new lyrics to describe how mRELEVANCE Read More→

mRELEVANCE CampaignsI bet you still think that a picture is worth a thousand words! Well, that is a bit of an understatement with today’s highly visual online sites. Images, unlike text, are processed by your long-term memory. And, if that isn’t enough, images are proven to increase audience engagement!  I hope you will join me as I present “The State of Social Media 2015: Getting the Picture” with Chad Davis, Senior Director, Online Services and Digital Media for NAHB at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas.

We will present our session on Thursday, January 22, in the Tech Hub from 10 – 11 a.m.
Chad and I have covered a number of topics related to social media at trade shows over the past several years. From blog trends to pay to play on Facebook, The State of Social Media, has covered the latest and kept members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) up to date. Read More→

VEGAS for My Birthday!

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Las VegasI’m packing my bags and heading to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday for a week! I plan to ring in my birthday with Britney Spears, Wicked and maybe a little black jack. Well actually I’m going to Pubcon, the premier social media and search engine optimization conference. However, doesn’t’ it sound like more fun to say I’m that I’m spending the week partying for my annual 36th birthday party?

Pubcon, a Forbes must-attend conference and an Inc. top conference for growing your business, is one of the biggest international gatherings of SEO and social media innovators ever assembled. This will be the third year that the mRELEVANCE team has attended the conference.

I’ll be able to learn more about the trends in social media and SEO and am expecting to come home with valuable new ideas and solutions for our clients. The rest of the Vegas fun is just the icing on the (birthday) cake!

Ever Wondered Why 7s are Lucky?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

7 presentations in vegasThere are seven cosmic stages, seven ancient and visible planets, seven Chakras in Indian culture, seven days in a week and seven colors in a rainbow. Pythagoreans called it the perfect number, the universe was created in seven days and in Chinese culture, the seventh day of the first moon of the lunar year celebrates the universal birthday of all human beings.

And if you’ll be in Vegas for the joint National Association of Home Builders International Builders Show (IBS) and National Kitchen and Bath Association’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), sevens can be lucky if you pull three in a row on a slot machine. Seven has been my lucky number since I was a little girl,  but seven is also a great number because it is the number of opportunities you will have to sit in on one of my programs at KBIS and IBS.

It will be a busy three days, but I am excited about the social media and marketing strategies, tips and ideas that my co-presenters and I will share in these presentations.

Carol Morgan and Dale McCain-BoydThe Marketing Relevance team was honored last week as HomeAid Atlanta’s Trade Partner of the Year.  This came as a huge surprise to me. . . although apparently several members of my team knew about it in advance and did a great job of keeping it a secret!

Here is how they announced it!

Trade Partner of the Year
Next, I would like to present the award for the HomeAid Atlanta Trade Partner of the Year. This award is presented to an extraordinary non-builder partner that greatly assists HomeAid Atlanta.
